(1) some of the meds we are administering (isometamidium Cl injectable for trypanosomiasis /"Nagana", ivermectin injectable dewormer),
(2) abscessed lymph node on animal suggestive of prior bought with East Coast Fever (Theileria parva infection),
(3) engorged tick removed from cow with > 2 ml blood taken from tick (plenty more left), and
(4) an animal going through a dip tank after other medications.
We take our cues from the Tanzania vets who asked for certain meds and support, which we provide. Pour on ectoparacides are being used most other places but in this location they wanted to use the dip tank, which occasionally gets a dog thrown in for good measure.
My connection is slow and may not handle all these photos but will try. This is the closest to a blog I can do right now.
All the best -- Jim Floyd
