Last day working in Pande area at “crush” with dip tank. I vaccinated via water inoculation about 2,000 chickens and ducks with LaSota NCD vaccine. The people lined up to get the vaccine which was reconstituted in 1000 ML sterile water to make 1 ml = 1 animal. CPT Coenen worked several hundred for vaccination with FMD and tx with ivermectin injectable at the crush. Went to supper at at the Kiboka (Hippopotamus) restaurant across the road. President Mikweke of Tanzania was visiting next door to the Mkonge Hotel where we are staying. We listened to him delivering a speech as we walked to the restaurant. Fairly large number of folks and cars outside the venue of the speech.
